Roof repairs
Broken, slipped or loose tiles, deteriorated ridge sections and defects around roof edges or junctions can allow water into a property. We repair affected areas, replace damaged tiles and address underlying defects where these form part of the agreed scope.
The visible signs inside the house do not always reveal where the problem starts. Water can travel before appearing as a ceiling stain or damp patch, so we consider the surrounding roof rather than assuming the entry point is directly above the damage. Where tiles or other materials need to be lifted to investigate further, we explain what is involved.
A local repair can be appropriate when the damage is confined to one area and the surrounding roof remains serviceable. If we find evidence of a wider problem, we discuss it with you, including the limitations of repairing only one section.
Complete roof replacements
When a roof has extensive damage or repeatedly needs attention, a complete replacement may be worth considering. We assess the existing condition and discuss the scope with you, including the removal of old materials, preparation of the exposed areas and installation of the replacement roof covering.
The work required beneath the tiles depends on the construction and condition of the property. Some defects only become visible once the existing covering has been removed. Our proposal explains the planned work and any exclusions; if opening up reveals additional problems, we discuss the findings and any change in cost or programme before proceeding with additional work.
Where structural concerns require specialist assessment, we coordinate the necessary input rather than treating them as a routine tile replacement.
Safe access and protection of your property
Safe access is part of planning every roofing job. We use appropriate safety equipment and arrange scaffolding, cherry pickers or other suitable access equipment according to the property and the work involved. Access is considered from the outset, together with the space needed for equipment, delivery of materials and removal of waste.
We also plan protection for the surrounding areas and discuss how the work may affect day-to-day use of the property. Roofing work is weather-dependent, particularly when sections are being opened up. We take this into account when preparing the programme and keep you informed if conditions affect progress.
Roofing, waterproofing and guttering
Where the work involves renewing or repairing a waterproofing system, we also undertake roof and terrace waterproofing, with the approach assessed around the existing construction.
If your roof project also involves gutter installation, replacement or repairs, we can coordinate the work and access arrangements as part of the agreed scope.

Arrange a site visit
Send us a WhatsApp message with your property location, a description of the problem and any photos you already have. Photos taken safely from ground level or inside the property are a useful starting point; there is no need to access the roof yourself.
We gather the initial information, arrange a site visit and prepare a proposal based on the work required. For urgent leaks, let us know when you message so we can confirm availability and any applicable emergency callout charges.
